what have i done today?: mykad renewal

oooo, today my sista (gha) and I went to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara @ Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam to get ourself a new mykad. well, being us, we reached there around 11 am. (what do u expect? duuh!) -___-" but, i still believe there's hope for us. look, I am the lucky number 4756 and as for gha 4760. yeay?! and guess what people, the current number at that time is 4289? yeah, you do the math. the room is pack with people. we waited for at least 7 hours for our turn. oh man, we're tired. like seriously. both of us been up and down the building to kill time. my toes is aching so much. for me, the worst thing when it comes to mykad, licence or anything like it, is of course the photo session. urrrgh, i hate this part. because i know my face will look freaking funny. (it is, in my previous one) i never get it right. even with a tons of practices. so, hopefully, this time it turns out ok. InsyaAllah. oh, for those who wants to renew ur ic, the fees is RM10. just so you know. that's that. annyoong! ;)

what has happened to me recently: finger burns

yep, I've burned my hand. when? while making homemade popcorn with my sisters two weeks ago. tsk tsk. my fore finger are officially fugly! say whaat? aish, that's the most crucial part/area for my future. how to cover lah? there goes my hantaran (i can see the numbers sinking down slowly, nooo!!!!) so, this is how it looks like.




it still in recovery mode, though. at the moment, i depend a lot on my left hand to do all the works. trust me, it ain't easy.

aaah, what a waste of time. i shouldn't stay. great, now I'm a laughing stock. say what you want to say. fikirla apapun. but next time don't even bother to ask for my opinion. it's better that way. i think. and it makes no different pun kan? bravo! you just kill my mood.

currently @ Tun Sri Lanang Library. weehu! the weather is so nice today. if I'm in my room right now i will never be able to stay out of my bed. it's calling me constantly. I'll definitely lose my focus. okay, that's that. need to get back to business. lol!

hello December!

20 more minutes before tomorrow. aaaaa, so fast. it's making me nervous! that means only a month or so before the semester ends. masyaAllah. anyhow, i just got back from a night ride with atun and mira. nothing special. just to get a breath of a fresh air and sort of exploring some places. it was rather refreshing, i must say. and somehow remind me on how i love to go out at night. the air and the atmosphere feels completely different. that only night can provide. i don't know how to explain it. never-mind, we do plan to wake up early tomorrow for a morning walk. hopefully, we'll make it.

Mostly, i only care about one or two hit songs for one particular artist. Eid ul Adha 2011

today it doesn't feels like Raya at all. there is no babies, toddlers or even kids at home and what's left is just us, the bujangs. (gha, me, opik and nina). it feel a bit empty. hmm, maybe that's what we called "pengorbanan". never-mind. later that evening, my sister successfully drive 3 of us all the way to Harbour Place @ Port Klang. Ooh my, that mall was awesome! thanks gha :)

tada! it is Big Bang grilled seaweed in spicy grilled squid flavour! it is a must try! full stop. but what's caught my attention is that it have the same name of my fav korean group. (drum-roll) none other than "Big Bang"! keke! definitely score an extra points for that. dang!

ookey, back to the main point. it's thin. it's crunchy.and it taste like ocean. (err, squid lives in ocean right? i dunno. aah, ignore that please) haha! i can eat it just like that or with a bowl of warm rice and ooh, it goes well with porridge too! yummm! i guarantee that it'll gone in no-time. even my brothers an sisters go gaga over this. lol! it is simply jjang! actually there's another flavour, original if I'm not mistaken. but i like this one the best. okie dokie. that's that. till then. bye peeps!

about the biggest and baddest event that took place in MAEPS Serdang. it's none other than The Big Bad Wolf Book Sales people! the price is insanely cheap. no lie. there's this huge selection of genres. from children to young adult, romance, sci-fi, cooking, travel, hobbies and so much more. I feel like I'm drowning in an ocean full of books. so what are you waiting for? start ur engine now. pronto! before it's too late. the exhibition ends this sunday. don't miss your chance to add more books into ur collection. Right now, it stays in my brother's house and i believe it is in good hands. hoho!(thanks along!) but, when i think about it, it is all my fault though it ended up this way. i should have take a better care when i had it. so, here i am, writing this entry to exclusively say my deep apology to you. yes, to you mini 9. i am sorry that i spilled a mug of teh tarik tudia on you that day. it was an accident you know. i remember the next day i need to wrap you in an air-tight plastic bag along with Thirsty Hyppo for 3 days. it's freaks the hell out of me. i thought you are going to die! i know this is soooo "yesteryear". but i wanted you to know that i am seriously and extremely sorry for i could not see you that night(@korean music wave concert in Malaysia). as I've got an important matter that need to be taken care of. ok, ok, i know that may sound pretty much like a lame excuses but believe me, it's true. you see, i regret it sooo much that i have trouble sleeping at night. so the next day when i woke up, I've received my punishment. a dark circle under my eyes. i swear i looks totally like a raccoon. it's horrible. so, i hope you forgive me. and perhaps, one day we could finally meet. hopefully. maybe. hugs and kisses from yours truly, Me. I'm talking about Beats Solo by Dr.Dre bebeh! the body is very sleek and modern. (well, at least for me it is). I want it in white just like the pictures. It's cost a fortune if I were to get this. the price is super expensive for a headphones. but still, I don't mind though, because my number one fav artist in the world (none other than G dragon) are wearing it! it's making me (doubly, no triply) in love with it.(melting right now) *_____*

It's a new semester ya'll!

however, I've not yet settled. why? erm, let me see...

1) I'll be doing my thesis this semester and I'm the only one of my friends without a supervisor.

2) I still don't have a room in college and it's suck thinking there's no place for me to stay. waaargh!

3) most importantly, my brain seems to take waaay too much time to function properly. and I desperately need them to be able to stay in focus.

4) oooh, I forgot one thing. I certainly need to find myself a part-time job. really need an extra cash. ASAP. @____@

so, I will say that this is definitely not a smooth start for a supposedly new beginning. but I do wish for a good things to come afterward. hopefully, amin...

The Tahreb's bujangs

Syukur Alhamdulillah,

Ramadhan nearly reached its end and Syawal is just around the corner. time seems to move fast ait. I haven't yet finished sembat-ing my baju kurungs let alone baking any kuih raya at all. Even cleaning out the house are far from done. tsk, tsk. MasyaAllah! Am i capable to multi-task and settled everything on time? Erm, i doubt that. oh, this year mizah will not be around as she's far far away(India). so, the only bujangs left is me, gha (second sista), nina (the youngest one) and the one and only eligible bachelor in the house- that is opik. both gha and nina has safely arrived home and now we just need to wait for opik as he is indeed a very busy man on the planet (ya right) and will only be coming back on sunday. fine! As for the married section, my eldest sister- syura was already here and on her way to complete her pantang. a new nephew has come on board. wuhu! Along on the other hand will be joining us early for the first time. Usually he'll be back here on third or fourth of Syawal. so, this is good. However, I'm not sure whether yik will be here joining the rest of us. warghh, i miss smoochin'qisha's plumpy face. Erm, I think that's that. hopefully Syawal this year will be an amazing one. InsyaAllah.

some time ago as i watched Big Bang's tv on youtube, my eyes landed straight on g dragon's bed spread. and at that very moment i have fallin in love with its design. it looks so freakin' real and cool too. what a masterpiece! and ooh, fyi, i always have a thing for GD lol! (screaming out loud {GD nomu nomu saranghaeyo!}) i'm so deeply, crazily, want to get my hands on this bed spread. I wonder whether or not it's available here (in Malaysia) and if I can have it customized. wow, that would be nice...

fasting month

during this blissful month, one of the thing that I wanted to improved is my cooking skills as well as to test my ability to make variety of dishes that I've been longing and eager to try for a long long time but dare not to. (dishes that is time consuming and that takes a lot of effort such as nasi tomato, which is need to be serve along with ayam masak merah and jelatah and the list goes on and on... yeah, you know what I meant) As I am honestly, truthfully, a lazy bum who has been equip with tons and tons of excuses. haha!) however, things that I hated the most is the moment when I'm running out of ideas on what to cook. (erm, not that I've finished trying everything on the menu, no.) it's just that a moment when you have like a black hole in your brain. you can't think of anything at all. urghhh, it just killing me. really! at that time I desperately wish I've had a long list of menus in front of me. -____-"

below is just something that I've been made long time ago. a week before Ramadhan to be exact. for me, it's quite an accomplishment. hoho! :P

things i do: babysitting

Recently, me and my sister will take turns to take care of our brother's children. It is only temporary though as they still waiting for the new maid to arrive. For me, this is a fun and challenging experience altogether. It is because, when it's time for him to eat, he will make me chase him all over the house, up and down the stairs just to put a spoonful of rice at his mouth. but then i feel soooo happy to see him eating. with such a cute facial expression. good job Luqman, good job! (-____-") but hey, look at the bright sight, wouldn't this helps me to loose a couple or two?

p/s: before I leave, I need to show my endless gratitude to ipad2 for its big help in a way that it keep Luqman entertained. This give me a "me-time" as I manage to do other stuff like cleaning, cooking and surfing of course! So yea, thanks ipad2! ^,^Y

things i've watch: Green Lantern

Just when back from watching Green Lantern with my bro's family @ Jusco Bukit Tinggi. It was a nice movie (as we watched it in 3d). but, what 's caught my interest is the fact that this movie taught me the important of overcoming our fear towards anything that hold us from doing things that we wanted in life. dang! good point indeed. :)
p/s: honestly, I'm amazed on how the superhero used his imagination to create the weapons. it was very refreshing.

last night for the semester :)

the clock shows 12.46 am
and i still didn't have the heart to sorting out and packing up all my stuff. i'm not in the mood just yet.

i'm thinking on what should i write?
well, i just got back from cafe and then on the way back, i'm captivated to see a group of friends hanging out and chilling to celebrate their last night together.
i've said to myself "what a beautiful moment"

korean dumpling: 1st attempt

Last week, out of bored I've decided to try and do korean dish. and this is the output. the skin is a bit thick though coz i made it myself and do aware that i am no professional dumpling maker. but it is due to the fact that i have plenty of flour left, rarely used and i thought why not do the skin from scratch instead of buying it? right? lol!

To be exact, this is called "mandu guk" means dumpling soup.

check out the recipe below;

for skin u need:
1)flour
2)salt
2)cold water

for filling u need:
1)ground beef
2)soft tofu
3)chives
4)shiitake mushroom (optional)
5)half of union
6)sesame oil
7)salt
8)soy sauce
9)sugar

for soup:
1)dried anchovies
2)half of union
3)green union
4)anchovies stock cube (optional)
5)salt

Make skin;
1.Put flour in a bowl and stir the flour while you add the cold water. Keep mixing until you have a shaggy dough. Then, knead it for a couple of minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.Shape each piece into a thick coin. After that, pressed it till it flat and lightly flour the top and bottom of the skin to avoid from sticking.


Make filling;
1. Place 1 cup of ground beef into a big bowl.
2. Add 1 ts of salt, 1 tbs of sesame oil and mixed well.
3. Wash chives, dry well with paper towel then chop. Add 1 tbs of sesame oil and mix it up.
*oil will coat vegetables so that liquid would not come out from it.
4. Chop 4-5 shiitake mushrooms and half an onion. Add 1 ts of soy sauce, 1 ts of sugar, and 2 ts of sesame oil
6. Squeeze half a package of tofu using paper towel. Then add a pinch of salt, 1 ts of sesame oil and mix it.
7. In the big bowl, mix all ingredients by hand.


For soup:
1. In a pot, place water, anchovies, onion and boil it for 20-30 minutes. If water evaporates, add more water.
2. When the stock is well made, remove the anchovies and onion.
3. Add a pinch of salt and dumplings and cover the lid.
4. When dumpling cooks properly, it floats to the surface.
5. Add chopped of green onion and it Done!

hope this help. i still need improvement here and there but this is definitely worth to try. (out of my passion for kpop and anything related to it) it taste delish. i'm luvin' it. :)
